Inauguration of City Police Hospital at Amberpet, Hyderabad on 09 Jul 2021 at 1530 hrs

The Hyderabad City Security Council under the aegis of Hyderabad City Police and with the support of CII Foundation and Corporates has inaugurated the City Police Hospital at Amberpet, Hyderabad.

The project was contributed as part of the CSR initiative by the industry body CII and its CSR arm CII Foundation. The 10 bedded hospital was built in less than a month's time with an intention to serve the community and their families which serves the society. The hospital is equipped equipment required for serving the patients. The hospital has an overall area of two thousand square feet with all the facilities required for serving the patients and also get admitted if required. In house laboratory, ECG check-up are also facilitated at the hospital. The facility was planned and executed on a war footing to support the fight against the second wave of the pandemic.

Shri. Anjani Kumar IPS, Commissioner of police Hyderabad City and Chairman Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) expressed happiness over the initiative and congratulated the whole team led by Smt. Shikha Goel IPS Addl CP Crimes & SIT who is also the Treasurer for HCSC.

Speaking on the occasion the C.P assured the citizens that the Hyderabad City Police would continue to work for their safety, security and well being.

Smt. Shikha Goel, IPS., Addl. CP, Crimes lauded the role of HCSC for the various activities taken up by them during the pandemic. She expressed gratitude to CII foundation and VST for supporting the city police in creation of this permanent infrastructure which would go a long way in this improving medical facility for the police personnel and their family members.
