Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Hematopathology Her major committee assignments are far ranging, having served as instructor, Pathology and Physiology Laboratory, for Harvard , and as co-director of the Gastrointestinal Pathology Fellowship Program at Roger Williams Medical Center. She has been active on numerous committees including Cancer Committee, Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence, RI (and Westerly Hospital); Breast Cancer Center Steering Committee, Westerly Hospital; Cancer Committee, Backus Hospital, CT; Breast Cancer Leadership Program, Backus Hospital; and the Infectious Control Committee, Backus Hospital. She additionally was part of the Diagnostic Management Teams for the five most common cancers in the region and served as a Hartford Hospital Pathology Council member. Dr. Stancu is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She has certifications with American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and with the American Board of Hematopathology.
