Later, even narrow range consolidation failed to save the index from extending loss. Finally, the index finished trade near to its intraday low of 15,667-level, with cut of 42 points. f NSE Cash segment reported turnover of Rs53,261 crore as compared to Rs58,496 crore reported earlier. f Overall market breadth remained negative, where 972 stocks advanced against 1,013 declined stocks. f Mixed trend was observed across sectoral indices during the day, where Pharma emerged as a top gainer with the increase of 0.9%. However, IT index emerged as a top loser with the decrease of 0.6%. NSE-NIFTY OUTLOOK f Yesterday, continuing its prior daily falling trend, NIFTY-50 slipped to 8-day low of 15,667-level. The index closed on negative note for fourth trading session in a row. Its hourly RSI is negatively poised and near to its oversold zone. Overall market breadth remained bearish, while mixed trend witnessed across major sectors. As per the current set-up, we believe the index could continue its undergoing negative momentum and may visit 15,550-level. Nifty closed down by 42 point at 15,680 levels. Among the nifty stocks 26 advanced and 24 declined during the day. f Among sectors it was a mixed bag with Auto, FMCG & Pharma to gain by 0.8% average while IT, Realty and Banks declined by 0.5% for the day. f Broader market indices remained negative with NIFTY 100, 200 and 500 to close down by 0.2% average while midcap indices and small cap indices declined by 0.4% for the day. f Nifty Jul futures end with 30 points premium at 15,710 mark while on other hand, Bank Nifty Jul futures ended with the premium of 167 points at 34,853 mark. f Nifty has closed near the 20 day average and positive momentum will be only above 15,900 levels.
