Walk Difficulties LEISURELY = 3 to 5 miles, relatively flat easy walk; good for beginners. MODERATE = 5 to 8 miles, reasonable pace, stiles likely and some ascents/descents. STRENUOUS = 7 to 15 miles, brisk pace, ‘A bit of a challenge’, stiles likely and possible steep ascents/descents.

Friday 04 May Start 09.15 – ‘Rail to Trail: Gatwick to Dorking’ All-day 15 miles/24 km linear brisk walk, mainly level terrain but with many stiles, route traversing farms and fields nestling in the Mole Valley area. Saturday 05 May Start time 10.00 – ‘Windmill Wander’ Morning 4 mile/6.4 km circular walk, visit the only Windmill Church in the country and then progress to Buckland for mid-morning refreshments in the Buckland Village Stores or bring your own and sit by Buckland Pond and the War Memorial.
