Capcom’s 4 receives Award of Excellence Okami and 2 Recipients of Future Awards －9th CESA GAME AWARDS－

The 9th CESA Game Awards, created by the Computer Entertainment Software Association to recognize and honor outstanding titles in computer entertainment software commercially released between April 1, 2004 and March 31, 2005, were awarded on October 27, and we are proud to announce that our title was the recipient of the esteemed Award of Excellence.

Furthermore, Okami (developed by ) and Monster Hunter 2 were on the receiving end of the illustrious Future Award, acknowledging the high quality for which our company always strives.

Our company is proud to have sold 27,300,000 copies of games in the Resident Evil series worldwide (as of March, 2005) as well as to bring an eager gaming audience the follow-up to Monster Hunter, itself a recipient of the Award of Most Excellent Game at the 8th CESA Game Awards.
