Cutting Capabilities

Davron utilizes both High Definition and Waterjet Cutting systems in our manufacturing facility. Both of these systems allow us to provide cost reductions, improved lead times and higher quality products with precision cuts.

These cutting systems are used in our manufacturing process every day for making oven components. However, we also sale our cutting services to outside customers for various parts and components. Please contact us with any of your cutting needs.

Our High Density Plasma Cutting system is a Plasma Automation Vicon Elite with a 130 ampere high-density plasma power supply. This system allows us to cut mild from to 1” thick and pierce mild steel up to ¾” thick.

Features and Benefits of the Plasma Automation Vicon Elite Cutting System:

• 5’ x 20’ cutting table • High-tech, precision dual linear guiding and worm gear drives with digital motors produce precise movement of the machined “solid as a rock” gantry. This results in uncommonly precise cuts and superior round holes. • Sharp, crisp gantry motion, coupled with the rigid, heavy-duty table, dependably achieve the tightest tolerances. • High-speed dual drives enable traversing speeds in excess of 2,000 ipm while continuing to provide maximum torch cutting speeds. • State-of-the art proximity switches, customized table stops, and fiber optic communication cables allow for easy diagnostics, trouble free operation, and optimum performance for the life of the machine.

Our Flow Abrasive Water Jet Cutting System utilzes an Integrated Flying Bridge with a Dynamic head. The pump utilzied on our system is a 60,000 psi HP Intensifier. This system cuts a wide variety of material such as Stone, Cooper, UHMW, Wood, Tile, , Rubber, Composites, Aluminum, Carbon Steel, Granite, , Foam, Marble etc……….

Features and Benefits of the Flow Abrasive Water Jet Cutting System:

6’ x 12’ cutting bed No mechanical stresses Little material loss due to cutting Z axis material t hickness up to 8” Easy to program Stack Cutting Accuracy of +/ - 0.003” Thin stream (0.020” to 0.050” in Low cutting forces (under 1 lb. diameter) while cutting) Repeatability of +/ - 0.002” Extremely detailed geometry Reduce secondary operations Edge Qu ality – No heat affected Thin material cutting Little or no zones
