Oliver Goldsmith A ’Biggar’ Purchase 1730-1774

Oliver Goldsmith was born on by Cavan County November 10th, 1730 in Pallasmore, Co. Longford. At the age of eight he had a Library Service! severe attack of smallpox which disfigured him for life. He received a B.A. degree Joseph Biggar from Trinity College Dublin, 1828-1890 before he left Ireland in 1752 to study medicine in Cavan County Library Service recently purchased an important rare photograph by Edinburgh, but ended up William Lawrence of Joseph Gillis Biggar (1828-1890), the member of wandering through Europe, parliament for Cavan. Lawrence had a collection of more than 30,000 photographs supporting himself by of scenes throughout Ireland and this archive was acquired by the National begging and by playing the Library in 1943. Joseph Biggar is born and was a member of the Home flute.His most famous works Rule League and later the Irish Parliamentary Party . He served as an MP for are his novel, The ‘Vicar of Cavan from 1874 to 1885, and West Cavan from 1885 until his death in 1890.
