The Sacred Paschal TRIDUUM Christ the King Parish University City, Missouri April 1-4, 2021 Triduum is three days. A day is counted according to the Hebrew tradition, from sunset to sunset: from the evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday through and including Easter Evening. During this one celebration, there are moments of proclamation, prayer, and ritual action that plunge us into a rich tapestry of human experience and divine mystery in the death and resurrection of Christ. HOLY THURSDAY OF THE LORD’S SUPPER Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper On this day Christians everywhere celebrate the gift of the Eucharist as our nourishment and our salvation. The Gospel makes clear what the other readings imply: we are to hand ourselves over to others. To help us live out this Gospel call, each year we wash feet and celebrate the Eucharist with renewed commitment to serve one another. P Ave Verum W.A.
