The L K Mishra College of Teacher Educaon is governed by NIMTE (Naonal Instute of Management Training & Educaon (a body duly registered with the Govt. of Bihar under Sociees Registraon Act 1860) which is established by Late Prof. (Dr.) L. K. Mishra, The former Vice-Chancellor (1983-85) of B R A Bihar University, Muzaffarpur and is the outcome of the vision of Dr. B. K. Mishra, The President of L. K. Mishra Group of Instuon. With the object and ideas that the students of Mithilanchal will get an opportunity of professional educaon, the courses such as MBA, BBA, B. Ed. & D. El. Ed are eshtablished and running under the L K Mishra Campus, Darbhanga. NIMTE has resolved to sponsor a college of teacher educaon to cater the need of Trained Teachers in the country specially in Darbhanga, Bihar.
