Meet your where2travel Ethiopia host - Kate Iles

Kate’s passion for travel is reflected through the unique destinations she has visited. She loves travelling all over the globe. However, her favourite travel destinations are those that have remarkable scenery, diverse cultures, unfamiliar foods, intriguing history and a lot of wildlife!

Kate first travelled to Africa over ten years ago, where she spent a month overlanding through amazing countries, such as Namibia. She still considers this as her favourite trip, and she feels that she left her heart in Africa and has had a dying desire to return ever since.

Ethiopia is a country she wanted to visit for many years due to its rich history, beautiful scenery and fascinating cultural encounters in the Omo Valley.
