P3 Gunmen shot Mosebi at his house in Small Farms, Evaton. The details of the murder are currently vague, but police have confirmed that three suspects ha- ve been arrested. Mosebi was well known for his pas- sion for politics and sports, especially football. He served as president of the Sedibeng Regional Masters Football Association. Mosebi also served on the Sedibeng Boxing Associati- on and on the Se- dibeng Sports Council. Speaking to Sedi- beng Ster, Mosebi’s wife, Ma- ria Mosebi, who was with him shortly before the shooting, said, “I cannot say much about Bennett. He was a people’s person. He was loved by ma- ny and I do not think he had enemies.” ANC Sedibeng Regional Spokesper- son, Themba Ndaba said they are torn apart by the murder of Mosebi. “We urge the police and the law to fast track the investigation process so that justice can take its course in order for comrade Bennett’s soul to rest in pe- ace.” Evaton police spokesperson, Captain Aubrey Moopeloa confirmed that three suspects were arrested and charged with murder.
