DAY 1 DAY 1: WELCOME TO SWEDEN When you arrive at -Arlanda Airport, make your way to Stockholm city centre. Many travellers opt to take the express train to Stockholm Central Station, but we also offer direct private transfers. After settling in at your hotel, spend the day exploring the beautiful city. Stroll the well-known street Drottninggatan where you can shop and feel the vibe of the capital city. You could also go for a walk in the surrounding area of Östermalm, where you will find interesting shops, cafés, and restaurants for a perfect introduction to Scandinavian culture. DAY 2 DAY 2: THE CHARMS OF SWEDISH CULTURE Today you will explore the heart of scenic Stockholm. We recommend exploring the capital by foot, visiting attractions such as the Old Town (Gamla Stan), where you will find the Royal Palace, the parliament, old churches, beautiful cobble stone streets and medieval houses. After some time at Gamla Stan, you can take a short ferry ride to the nearby island Djurgården, a cultural oasis with something for everyone. Here you will find the kitschy Abba , the , the Gröna Lund amusement park, and the open-air museum. It is ideal to spend the afternoon here, exploring the grounds and many attractions. DAY 3 DAY 3: SCENIC RAILWAY JOURNEY TO MALMÖ After breakfast, it’s time to board the train to Malmö, Sweden’s third largest city. During your journey, relax and enjoy the idyllic scenery of the southern Swedish countryside as you envision the exciting activities that await you! After arriving and settling in at your hotel in Malmö’s city centre, we recommend a visit to Lilla Torg. This marketplace is a popular local meeting point and one of the cosiest places in the city, offering a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. Spend the night in Malmö. Train duration: Approx. 4 hours, 30 minutes Attractions: Lilla Torg, Malmö

1/3 DAY 4 DAY 4: A DAY OF DISCOVERIES IN MALMÖ Today you will continue to enjoy the Malmö area. We recommend visiting Slottsholmen where you find the Malmöhus Castle, a Renaissance castle and fortress with an intriguing history, as well as Malmö Art Museum. You can also head down to the harbour to get a closer look at the Turning Torso, a remarkable skyscraper that twists 90 degrees from top to bottom. Another possibility is to take the train over the nearly 8 km (5 mile) long Øresund Bridge (Öresundsbron), to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Here you can visit all the main sights, such as the famous Little Mermaid statue, the National Museum and Christiansborg Palace, the Ströget shopping street as well as the always entertaining, Tivoli. Spend another night in Malmö. Attractions: Copenhagen, Malmö Art Museum, Malmöhus Castle, Turning Torso, Øresund Bridge

DAY 5 DAY 5: TRAIN RIDE TO GOTHENBURG After breakfast, head to the train station for your journey to yet another exciting city and admire the beautiful landscapes on the ride to Gothenburg, Sweden's second largest city. Once you have arrived and settled in at your hotel in Gothenburg’s city centre, we highly recommend a leisurely walk down Avenyn, the main shopping street that is full of interesting stores, fine restaurants, and quaint, colourful buildings. Spend the night in Gothenburg. Train duration: Approx. 2 hours, 30 minutes Attractions: Avenyn, Gothenburg

DAY 6 DAY 6: FREE TIME TO EXPLORE GOTHENBURG Spend the day discovering more of Gothenburg. We recommend a visit to the Feskekôrka fish market, the bountiful botanical gardens and the fun Liseberg amusement park. Art lovers should make a stop at the Gothenburg Museum of Art followed by an afternoon Fika in Haga, which has charming cobblestone streets, and 19th century houses with wooden facades. Spend the night in Gothenburg. Attractions: Feskekôrka, Liseberg Amusement Park

2/3 DAY 7 DAY 7: RETURN TO STOCKHOLM Today you will board the return train to Stockholm, and the rest of the day and evening is free for you to enjoy Stockholm at leisure. Once in Stockholm, we recommend the panoramic view from Fjällgatan in Södermalm , and whilst here, do not miss a visit to the bohemian area of SOFO – “South of Folkungagatan”. This area has an architectural mix of historical red wooden houses with early 20th century houses. There’s also vintage shopping and cosy cafés, where you can enjoy Swedish “fika”. In the summer months, you can spend the afternoon at Fjäderholmarna, the closest of Stockholm’s Archipelago islands, where you can take a guided tour, browse the local handicrafts and enjoy an authentic Swedish dinner. DAY 8 DAY 8: STOCKHOLM AND DEPARTURE Enjoy one last breakfast before it’s time to check out of your hotel. Passengers departing with the afternoon flight will have time for some last-minute shopping, sightseeing, or some time relaxing at a café while reflecting on your time in .
