ABOUT TONIGHT’S GUEST ARTIST Danilo Pérez was born in 1966. He started his musical training at SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND DANCE 3 years old with his father, a professional bandleader and singer. By the time he was 10 years of age he was studying the European Beall Concert Hall Tuesday evening classical piano repertoire at the National Conservatory in Panama, 8:00 p.m. November 3, 2008 eventually transferring to the Berklee College of Music to study jazz. He has performed and/or recorded with Jon Hendricks, Ter- ence Blanchard, Claudio Roditi, Paquito D’Rivera, Wayne Shorter, Steve Lacy, Jack DeJohnette, Charlie Haden, Michael Brecker, Joe THE GUEST ARTIST SERIES Lovano, Tito Puente, Wynton Marsalis, Billy Cobham, John Pati- tucci, Tom Harrell, Gary Burton, Avishai Cohen, Brian Blade, Scott presents Colley and Roy Haynes.
