Growth of Pike (Esox Lucius L.) in the Section of the Tisza River at Tiszafüred

HARKA Kossuth Lajos Secondary School, Tiszafüred (Received January 25, 1981) Abstract On the basis of measurements on 204 fish specimens the following relationship was established between the standard body length and body weight of pike: lg W = -4.811+2.9301gLc, where W=body weight in g, Lc = body length in mm. The following relation was found between standard body length and total body length: Lt = 5.651+1.110 Lc The determination of the age of pike as well as its body length in the single years was per- formed on the basis of the growth-rings of scales. Growth can be well described by Bertalanffy's equation: 01695 t + 0 5 1,= 1008.6E1 — e- < ' >]x, where l, = standard body length of pike at the age of "t", e = the base of natural logarithm. · Introduction Pike has been a very important fish species especially in the tributaries and stagnant waters of the Tisza, and with the establishing of reservoirs it has become increasingly frequent also in the main branch of the river. Therefore it may be impor- tant from economical aspect to obtain knowledge about its growth which has not been studied to date Hungarian waters. This paper reports on growth studies performed on behalf of the Fisheries Research Institute, Szarvas in the section of the Tisza in the water storage area of Kisköre, and presents at the same time the first information in connection with the growth of pike in Hungary. -

In total, 77 different trophic associations (plant-aphid-primary parasitoid-hyperparasitoid) have been reported. Four Charipinae species are recorded for the first time from Serbia: Alloxysta citripes (Thomson, 1862) , Alloxysta mullensis (Cameron, 1883) , Alloxysta pusilla (Kieffer, 1902) , and Alloxysta sawoniewiczi (Kierych, 1988). KEY WORDS : Alloxysta , Phaenoglyphis , hyperparasitoids, parasitoids, aphids Introduction The subfamily Charipinae (Hymenoptera: Figitidae) consists of over 180 species with worldwide distribution (Ferrer-Suay et al. 2012a; 2012b; 2013a; 2013b; 2013c; 2013d; 2013e; 2013f; 2013g; 2014; 2018), 75 of which are recorded in the Palearctic region (Ferrer-Suay et al. 2018). Charipinae species are solitary hyperparasitoids of aphids (Aphididae) and psyllids (Psyllidae) (Menke & Evenhuis, 1991). Moreover, Charipinae are obligatory hyperparasitoids that parasitize Aphidiinae (Braconidae), Aphelinidae (in aphids) and Encyrtidae (in psyllids). As with all obligatory hyperparasitoids, Charipinae always develop at the expense of parasitoids and are likely to limit top-down control of aphids and psyllids (van Veen et al . 2001; Boivin & Brodeur, 2006; Sampaio et al . 2017). Despite obvious biological, ecological and economical importance, the Charipinae has been poorly studied until recently. -

TECHNICAL REPORT FOR SERBIA LSMS 2007 Republican Statistical Office of Serbia, Department for International Development and World Bank 1.1 FIELDWORK Approximately 90% of the LSMS questionnaire was based on the 2002 and 2003 LSMS questionnaire, carrying forward core measures in order to measure trends over time. The survey incorporated two methods of interviewing - one involving the interviewer (face to face) and the other was a self-completion diary. All modules, with the exception of the consumption diary, were filled by the interviewer with the respondent. The diary was left in the household and filled in by the household member in charge of daily purchases. Fieldwork consisted of three phases. The first phase involved identification of the household and filling of certain modules, after which the household was instructed how to keep the diary of consumption. In the second phase each household kept the diary, while the interviewers were obliged to visit the household and help them in fill the diary where needed. In the third phase the interviewer visited the household again, examined the diary to see whether it had been correctly filled, and conducted the interview for the remaining modules. Odluka O Mreži Predškolskih Ustanova Na Teritoriji Grada Beograda
ODLUKA O MREŽI PREDŠKOLSKIH USTANOVA NA TERITORIJI GRADA BEOGRADA ("Sl. list grada Beograda", br. 8/2012, 23/2012 - ispr., 62/2014 i 4/2017) Član 1 Ovom odlukom utvrđuje se broj i prostorni raspored predškolskih ustanova na teritoriji grada Beograda u kojima se obavlja delatnost predškolskog vaspitanja i obrazovanja (u daljem tekstu: Mreža predškolskih ustanova), čiji je osnivač grad Beograd. Član 2 U predškolskoj ustanovi ostvaruje se predškolsko vaspitanje i obrazovanje za decu uzrasta od šest meseci do polaska u školu, u skladu sa osnovama programa predškolskog vaspitanja i obrazovanja. Predškolska ustanova obavlja delatnost predškolskog vaspitanja i obrazovanja dece predškolskog uzrasta i delatnost kojom se obezbeđuje ishrana, nega, preventivno-zdravstvena i socijalna zaštita dece predškolskog uzrasta, u skladu sa zakonom. Član 3 Delatnost predškolskog vaspitanja i obrazovanja ostvaruje se u organizaciji predškolskih ustanova osnovanih u skladu sa Mrežom predškolskih ustanova, koja je sastavni deo ove odluke. Član 4 Delatnost predškolskog vaspitanja i obrazovanja obavlja se u objektima predškolskih ustanova u sedištu predškolske ustanove i objektima van sedišta predškolske ustanove - izdvojenim odeljenjima, u skladu sa zakonom. Predškolske ustanove mogu, na osnovu utvrđenih potreba i interesa dece i roditelja da obavljaju delatnost i u izdvojenom odeljenju u prostorima osnovnih škola i drugim prostorima, koji u skladu sa zakonom i drugim propisima ispunjavaju uslove za obavljanje delatnosti predškolskog vaspitanja i obrazovanja. Član 5 Promene u broju i prostornom rasporedu predškolskih ustanova obuhvaćenih Mrežom predškolskih ustanova, vršiće se izmenom i dopunom ove odluke, saglasno kriterijumima koje je utvrdila Vlada Republike Srbije. During that period, the White-tailed Eagle almost exclusively bred in the floodplain forests along the river valleys of the Danube, Sava, Drava, Kupa, Česma, Ilova, Bosut and Tisa Rivers. Nests were found on six tree species, the majority on Pedunculate Oak and native poplars. A total of 171 young White-tailed Eagle were marked by wing-tags. After 12 years, the population census was repeated in Serbia initiating a new period of research on the White-tailed Eagle. The population grew from 23–36 pairs in 1991 to 80–100 pairs in 2008. The population increase started at the beginning of 1990s is still in progress. Possible causes for this dis- tinct increase are improved feeding conditions due to the construction of carp fishponds and increased breeding within hybrid poplar plantations as well as the higher degree of protection. -

THE PROJECT "A NEW GIS PROCEDURE FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE LANDSCAPE IN CLASSICAL ANTIQUITY (territory of today Croatia)" Vlasta Begović Institute of Archaeology Gajeva 32, 10 000 Zagreb, Croatia Ivančica Schrunk University of St. Thomas St. Paul, Minnesota 55105, USA Davorin Kereković GIS Forum Ilica 191 e, 10 000 Zagreb, Croatia Abstract In the course of the ongoing research project “Archaeological Topography of Croatia in Classical Antiquity” the application of a new GIS procedure made it possible to make reconstructions of some Roman sites and past landscapes (landscape in classical antiquity) on the territory of today Croatia. The GIS approach to the study of changes in historical landscapes indicated that the greatest transformation of the landscape occurred in the Roman period. Territorial creativity was high in the Roman time, when a completely new landscape identity appeared after the 2nd/1st century BC in Dalmatia and Histria, and after the 1st century AD in Pannonia. The new markers in the landscape consisted of: 1) Military camps; 2) Cities – colonies and settlements; 3) Roman villas; 4) A network of roads and aqueducts. Agro-forestry landscapes were unbalanced even in prehistory, with clearing of forests and expansion of agriculture. However, the most noticeable changes came in the Roman period with new exploitation of the land and the intensive planting of new cash crops - grape (vineyards) and olive trees in Dalmatia and Histria, and wheat and other cereals in Pannonia. -
