DAS SHADOW BIO:

The precise moment of Das Shadow's conception can be pinpointed to two microseconds after the big bang. But that’s another story. After remixes for ‘Dave Gahan’, ‘Yazoo’ and Uber-Danes ‘Veto’, the enigmatic coal-fired bunker-studio has produced the sights and sounds of the Trillennium…

Yet another story is that Das Shadow is in fact Andrew Phillpott and Christian Eigner. After co-writing tracks with Dave Gahan for two Depeche Mode albums – “I Want It All”, “Nothings Impossible” and Grammy nominated single “Suffer Well” from the 2005 release “Playing The Angel” and “Hole To Feed”, “Come Back” and “Miles Away / The Truth Is” from the brand new album “Sounds Of The Universe” – as well as every track on Gahan’s solo album “Hourglass” from 2007, they did a selection of well received remixes before deciding to launch Das Shadow as their first band project, with a series of releases planned throughout 2009.

The first single ‘Navigate The Menus’ - including remixes from Kap10 Kurt, Filthyboy13 and Raymie Burns – is available on iTunes through Sony.
