Despite witnessing ups and downs in 2012 with the political turmoil in the region and occurrences in Lebanon, we have managed to keep our welfare and economy stable. Fortunately, I believe that this is a result of our will power, positive energy and the optimism that we always tend to demonstrate. Rasamny Younis Motor Company has witnessed some rough times of its own; however, with the right strategic direction as our skeleton and a devoted team of employees, we have managed to identify the key goal to maintain this business at the highest level of expectation: our commitment to stakeholders' satisfaction. The year 2012 was a good year for RYMCO; we have many accomplishments to be proud of; outstanding financial results versus the previous years, high market share, brand positioning, customer satisfaction for our Aftersales service, several new model launches, Corporate Social Responsibilities, and many others which you will read about elaborately in the pages to come. Upon closing the year 2012, the financial statement exhibited proud figures proving to us that our hard work throughout the year was entirely successful. Je laissais mes yeux vagabonder sur le forum de gturismo4.net. J’étais en fin de première année de BTS audiovisuel, je glandais sévèrement et j’avais ressorti Gran Turismo 4 du placard, bien décidé à faire un petit pas de plus vers l’impossible 100% du jeu. J’avais découvert quelques mois plus tôt ce forum fort sympathique, auto proclamé « GT4 : la communauté », fondé par un certain Wolf18. Quelques centaines de membres inscrits, quelques dizaines de membres actifs. Une ambiance assez particulière y régnait, celle des communautés de fans hardcore, qui s’accrochent au jeu encore bien longtemps après sa sortie. C’était une expérience nouvelle pour moi. À l’époque, cela me semblait improbable de fréquenter durablement un forum sur un jeu unique (et pourtant, j’étais bien geek) .Mais après tout, la licence Gran Turismo était la référence des simulations automobiles sur console. La fidélité des joueurs me semblait du coup justifiée. Bref, je venais sans doute pour un conseil sur un permis S, ou autre futilité du genre, quand je plongeai tout à coup dans cette torpeur du nerd, mi-comatique, mi- lobotomisée.

    Letter from the Chairman With an optimistic perspective at heart, and despite the many factors that have led to a drained and weak market, we have set a confident two-year plan of investments for RYMCO that will pave a positive path for our future. Since the beginning of 2013, we have launched many projects, new car models, and planned for many more throughout the year including new showroom ventures. As promised, we have several new model launches in 2013, and thus far we have launched successfully the All-New Nissan Pathfinder and Sentra alongside the All-New Infiniti JX. We had a spectacular launch event on our Chiyah Headquarters rooftop which hosted approximately 500 renowned guests. The Nissan Pathfinder 2013 set new standards towards an evolved generation of SUVs with the new concept of balance between the heavy off-road, city and family SUV. This model has long been Nissan’s best selling SUV. We also introduced the Nissan Sentra which is currently excelling in the regional market as well as in Lebanon. Following its international success and especially in North America, it now is available within the Nissan line-up for the first time in Lebanon. This model’s highlights are its vast cabin room, latest specifications and technology that are not available in any other C-segment vehicles. We also have promising new models yet to come which I am sure will be to your liking.
