PRESS INFORMATION NEW YORK, Aug. 23, 2019 — PlayStation has selected Michelin as “official tire technology partner” for its Gran Turismo franchise, the best and most authentic driving game, the companies announced today at the PlayStation Theater on Broadway. Under the multi-year agreement, Michelin also becomes “official tire supplier” of FIA Certified Gran Turismo Championships, with Michelin-branded tires featured in the game during its third World Tour live event also in progress at PlayStation Theater throughout the weekend. The relationship begins by increasing Michelin’s visibility through free downloadable content on Gran Turismo Sport available to users by October 2019. Das „Bosch Hockenheim Historic – Das Jim Clark Revival“ steht für diesen unperfekten und unmodernen, aber stets ehrlichen und mitreißenden Motorsport. Als legitimer Nachfolger des legendären „Jim Clark Gedächtnisrennens“ pflegt die Veranstaltung das Vermächtnis des großen schottischen Rennfahrers, der 1963 und 1965 Formel-1-Weltmeister wurde und am 7. April 1968 bei einem Formel-2-Rennen in Hockenheim tödlich verunglückte. Nicht weniger als zwölf spektakuläre Rennserien mit insgesamt mehr als 500 Teilnehmern bringen den Zauber vergangener Rennsport-Tage zurück ins altehrwürdige Motodrom, das Schauplatz unzähliger denkwürdiger Rennschlachten war – nicht zuletzt jenen der Formel-2- Europameisterschaft, die so viele Zuschauer begeistert und so viele große Rennfahrer hervorgebracht hat. So zum Beispiel auch einen gewissen Hans-Joachim Stuck, Sieger des Jim Clark Gedächtnisrennens 1974. Kein Wunder, dass die Historische Formel 2 beim Bosch Hockenheim Historic einen besonderen Platz einnimmt. Doch sie ist nur eine spektakuläre Rennserie unter einem vollen Dutzend, die beim Jim Clark Revival am Start stehen. Die Historic Grand Prix Cars Association widmet sich ganz den Grand-Prix-Fahrzeugen der 20er- bis 60er-Jahre des vergangenen Jahrhunderts. -
