You have requested the following information: Could you please tell me after April 2013 how many people living in your borough are subject to the council tax benefit reform If possible please provide a ward breakdown Please also detail total's in different bands IE Band A = 100, Band B = 200 and so on In response to your request I can advise as follows: The number of people living in the borough who are subject to the Council Tax welfare reform is 14,911. This is defined as working age people who have the same circumstances but have an increased amount of Council Tax to pay due to no longer receiving Council Tax Benefit.
