THE BRUINS WEEK AHEAD February 23 – March 1

STAT OF THE WEEK: The Bruins victories in Anaheim, Los Angeles and San Jose marked the first time in team history that they swept the California road swing, and the B’s current seven-game win streak is the team’s longest streak of the season.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK: “I’m watching more Bruins games growing up in the Boston area, so that’s what you vision when you’re playing street hockey or in practice or just skating on the pond when you’re younger. You envision you’re playing for the hometown team…so obviously it’s a cool moment right now, and I don’t think it’s fully hit me, but I’m pretty excited.”– Charlie Coyle on being traded to his hometown team

TWEET OF THE WEEK (WEEK 25): @ConorRyan_93 (Conor Ryan, Boston Sports Journal): “Important takeaway from today’s media availability: Brandon Carlo used to own a pet guinea pig named “Monte” Carlo.”

HONORABLE MENTION: @_TyAnderson (Ty Anderson, 95.8 The Sports Hub): “They say you don't win the season on July 1, but explain Chris Wagner.”
