TWO-TIME TONY AWARD WINNER CHRISTINE EBERSOLE RETURNS TO FEINSTEIN’S AT THE NIKKO WITH AFTER THE BALL

SAN FRANCISCO (March 14, 2018) – Following two previous sold-out engagements, two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole returns to Feinstein’s at the Nikko with her critically-acclaimed show, After the Ball, on Friday, June 15 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, June 16 (8 p.m.). In this celebration of the classics, Ebersole will perform such standards as “The Way You Look Tonight,” “S’Wonderful,” “Lazy Afternoon,” and more! After the Ball premiered in 2016 at New York City’s Café Carlyle to glowing reviews and returned to Feinstein’s/54 Below with encore performances in 2017, while starring on Broadway in the hit musical, , opposite Patti LuPone.

In January 2018, Christine made her Los Angeles Opera debut in Candide. She spent all of 2015 touring in her previous concert Big Noise from Winnetka. Throughout her career, Christine has performed in concert halls throughout the United States, including performances at The Kennedy Center, Feinstein’s/54 Below, The Carlyle, Feinstein’s at the Nikko, as well as with The Pasadena Pops, The Boston Pops The New York Pops, the televised Kennedy Center Honors and The San Francisco Symphony at Carnegie Hall (2008 PBS Special). In fall 2014, Christine joined in two PBS concerts, “Live from The Rainbow Room,” including the New Year’s Eve special.

A native of Winnetka, , Christine Ebersole won her first Tony Award for her role as Dorothy Brock in the 2000 acclaimed revival of . She won the 2007 Tony Award for Outstanding Actress in the “role of a lifetime” as Edie Beale in the acclaimed Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical . Lauded with virtually every Off- Broadway theater award when it premiered at Playwrights Horizon, Grey Gardens moved to Broadway with every theater critic praising Christine’s bravura performance. Christine followed Grey Gardens with the Broadway production of opposite and . Other credits include War Paint (Tony Award nomination), , Dinner at Eight (Tony Award nomination), and Gore Vidal’s .

Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein’s at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. There is a $20 food and beverage minimum per person inside the showroom which guests can use towards cocktails as well as a variety of small plates crafted exclusively for Feinstein’s at the Nikko, through Restaurant Anzu. Cheese and dessert platters will also be available in the showroom.

Guests of Feinstein’s at the Nikko can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options before performances. Kanpai Lounge, located in Hotel Nikko’s lobby, offers light cuisine, a full bar and specialty cocktails. Restaurant Anzu, Hotel Nikko’s intimate restaurant located on the second floor, serves sustainable California cuisine enhanced with Asian flavors. Restaurant Anzu will also offer Feinstein’s at the Nikko guests a special three-course prix-fixe dinner ($45 per person) prior to all performances.
