Hollywood, Calif., June 5, 2007 – CBS Television Distribution achieved an unprecedented feat by becoming the first syndicator to distribute 9 of the top 10 rated programs during a May sweep, for the sweep ending May 23. No other distributor in the history of syndication has ever held 9 of the top 10 spots during a single sweep period.
In fact, ratings powerhouses WHEEL OF FORTUNE, OPRAH WINFREY SHOW, JEOPARDY!, DR. PHIL, ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, JUDGE JUDY, EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND and CSI: MIAMI swept the top 8 spots.

In addition, ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT was the only first-run strip to grow year to year, up +2% vs. the May 2006 sweep.

WHEEL OF FORTUNE is the #1 show in all of syndication and the #1 game show (7.3 HH AA%). WHEEL OF FORTUNE is the only syndicated show to pull in more than 10 million viewers a day, averaging 10.8 million daily viewers for the May sweep.
THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW is the #1 talk show of the sweep and the #2 show in syndication (6.2 HH AA%). OPRAH ranks #1 for the sweep among women 18-49 and women 25-54.
ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT is the #1 entertainment newsmagazine (5.0 HH AA%).
JUDY JUDY is the #1 court show (4.5 HH AA%) for the 43rd major sweep in a row. JUDY hasn’t lost a sweep since its premiere 11 years ago.
INSIDE EDITION is the #1 newsmagazine (3.4 HH AA%), holding even with its May 2006 average. In total viewers, INSIDE EDITION grew +2% vs. May 2006.
RACHAEL RAY is the #1 rookie show (2.0 HH AA%).
EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND is the #1 off-network sitcom (4.5 HH AA%).
CSI: MIAMI is the #1 weekly hour (4.4 HH AA%).
