The flowchart of cohort establishment As of February 15th, 2020, a total of 68,500 laboratory-confirmed cases have been identified in China. The largest percentage (82.12%) of cases were diagnosed in Hubei province (56,249 patients). The percentage of cases with severe pneumonia in Hubei province (21.20%) was higher than that outside of Hubei province (10.45%). The mortality was also higher in Hubei province (2.84% vs. 0.56%).
