Abstract. Land resources are the important material guarantee of human survival and development. It has characteristic of nonrenewable and irreplaceability. Recently, the land resources are more scarce and get into many difficulties which as carrier of urban space with the rapid development of economy and rapid urbanization. It has restricted seriously the process of urbanization and the sustainable development of urban economy in China. Rational and sustainable utilization of urban land resources has become hot spots of society. This paper analyzes the question and put forward to countermeasures and suggestions. Introduction At present, China is in the key period of accelerating development of urbanization. Along with the urbanization is the urban population, industrial agglomeration and land expansion. The land is not only the carrier of urban space, but also the important support of urbanization. What cannot be ignored is that along with the acceleration of urbanization in our country, it also brings about some problems, such as the blind expansion of urban scale, the decrease of available land, the increasing tension of cultivated land, the low level of land intensive use, the low efficiency, the destruction of ecological environment, the degradation of land, the serious damage and so on. -

In conjunction with Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong’s visit to Fujian province from 26 – 30 October 2009, International Enterprise (IE) Singapore is organising a mission to Xiamen and Fuzhou to help Singapore-based companies seek business opportunities in the province. Besides IE Singapore officials, the 16- strong delegation comprises representatives from 13 companies of various industries, including transport & logistics, tourism, real estate, masterplanning & consultancy, food processing and more. 2. Fujian province’s GDP grew at a stable 8.5% in the first half of this year. Its investment climate is now even more attractive with the recent announcement by the Central Government to elevate the Economic Zone of the West Coast of Taiwan Straits1 (EZWCTS)(海峡西岸经济区)as a national-level strategy. The EZWCTS is being developed to transform Fujian into an economic hub that not only connects the economic powerhouses of the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta, but also serves as a springboard to bring overseas investments into Western and Central China. Email: [email protected] Introduction Three families in the superfamily Calopterygoidea occur in China, viz. the Calo- pterygidae, Chlorocyphidae and Euphaeidae. They include numerous species that are distributed widely across South China, mainly in streams and upland running waters at moderate altitudes. To date, our knowledge of Chinese spe- cies has remained inadequate: the taxonomy of some genera is unresolved and no attempt has been made to map the distribution of the various species and genera. This project is therefore aimed at providing taxonomic (including on larval morphology), biological, and distributional information on the super- family in South China. In 2009, two series of surveys were conducted to Southwest China-Guizhou and Yunnan Provinces. The two provinces are characterized by karst limestone arranged in steep hills and intermontane basins. The climate is warm and the weather is frequently cloudy and rainy all year. This area is usually regarded as one of biodiversity “hotspot” in China (Xu & Wilkes, 2004). Many interesting species are recorded, the checklist and photos of these sur- veys are reported here. And the progress of the research on the superfamily Calopterygoidea is appended. Methods Odonata were recorded by the specimens collected and identified from pho- tographs. Landscape security patterns can identify the patterns that are crucial to the health and security of landscape ecological processes by analyzing and simulation them. This article applies the theory of landscape security pattern to land consolidation zoning in a coastal tidal area, Dafeng District, Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. The main landscape processes in land consolidation are explored in land consolidation in the area by literature review and field investigation, corresponding single landscape ecological security patterns are constructed using spatial analysis functions in ArcGIS 10.3, and land consolidation zones are determined according to the comprehensive landscape security pattern.
