2018, NATURAL GAS AND ELECTRIC IN CREWS took our hometown service across state lines. More than 140 Consumers Energy employees and contract personnel including lineworkers, damage assessors, safety personnel and other field employees traveled to Philadelphia in March to help restore power after a winter storm left nearly 2 million people in the Northeast without power. Home Makeover For the first time since 2012, our natural gas crews were called to help after an overpressure incident in Massachusetts.
