Communication 1307 – Introduction to Mass Communication in the Electronic Environment, an academic course designed to provide an overview of the social, economic, and legal environment of mass media, give historical context, and introduce major media studies theories.

Communication 1335 – Introduction to Electronic Media, an in-depth examination of the history, structure, and practice of radio, television, and online media. Fall 2012 – Spring 2013 Taught Filmmaking 1300 – Production Management, an introduction to the economic, legal, and logistical aspects of film and video production.

• Produce signature series for air on HCCTV, YouTube, and iTunes: o “Veterans’ Voice” Produced in conjunction with Easter Seals of . Highlights area services for veterans and HCC programs and services of interest to veterans. o “The Topic.” Examines academic and workforce programs at HCC. Highlights college outreach efforts. o “Global Outlook” Profiles international students at HCC. Examines services at HCC for international students. • Produce special project videos and news coverage for various academic and workforce programs, and support departments.

Media Producer, Stafford Municipal/Educational Television

• Produced ongoing series. o “Stafford Weekly News” Provides Stafford residents with a Fort Bend County perspective on issues. Highlights area attractions.
