Light Rail The Houston METRORail offers a public transportation system of trains that run throughout the Texas Medical Center, the museum district, downtown Houston, Moody Park, and to the Northline Transit Center. Rice University Rice University is located less than a mile away from Texas Children's Hospital. This beautiful campus offers a walking and running trail that is open to the public. The trail is just under 3 miles in length, and offers a scenic route for visitors. http://www.rice.edu/
