    Institucionalização do surfe e a participação das mulheres (década de 1960) Ana Carolina Costa Cruz* Abstract Based on the concept of field sports Bourdieu (1983), we assumed that the surf so institutionalized in Rio de Janeiro took his first steps in the 1960s, just when women enter the sport. What is the participation of women in this context? Interviews were conducted with the winners of the first surfing event held on the beach of Ipanema / Rio de Janeiro in 1965: Maria Helena Beltrão, Fernanda Guerra e Heliana Oliveira, and later with Fábio Kerr, son of the founder of the Federation of Surf Carioca, founded shortly before the championship. In conclusion, we found that certain stereotypes about women's surfing were built during the process of institutionalization, especially the professionalization of the sport. Introdução 1960 foi uma década muito curiosa, marcada por muitos exageros, mas que realmente aponta para mudanças culturais e políticas intensas no Brasil e no mundo (CARDOSO, 2005). Nessa década a ciências humanas passa a reconhecer diferentes objetos de estudos antes suprimidos pelas grandes narrativas e feitos históricos, a academia começa a valorizar as minorias sociais e a atuação na transformação do status quo, exemplo, a ascensão dos Estudos Culturais. No Brasil, a capital do país se mudara para Brasília, o inicio da década era de instabilidade, entre a guerra civil e a ditadura, culminando no golpe militar em 1964.     “Palmas para o pôr do sol do Arpoador!”: o prazer de celebrar as emoções relativas à “carioquice”1 Alessandra de Figueredo Porto2 Cíntia Sanmartin Fernandes3 Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Rio de Janeiro, RJ Resumo O presente artigo busca compreender a relevância da “carioquice ou da carioquidade” como um elemento potencializador das sociabilidades presentes na dinâmica da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Partindo da perspectiva supracitada, o trabalho analisa o papel das experiências, dos afetos, das emoções e da arquitetura dos lugares como fundador de um novo ethos que possui a capacidade de ressignificar um lugar: a Pedra do Arpoador. Buscou-se neste artigo descrever a dinâmica do cotidiano deste lugar da cidade, onde o viver e a experiência sensível de diversas “tribos” com o espaço (real e virtual) são capazes de elevar o Arpoador ao conceito de “lugar altar”. Nesse contexto, o hábito de aplaudir o pôr do sol pode ser visto como um gesto onde se c onstrói sociabilidades, possuindo imbricações com a geração de sentido fundamentada nas partilhas de afeto. Sendo assim, dezenas de pessoas sobem os degraus da Pedra do Arpoador e se reúnem no alto das rochas, em busca do melhor ângulo para assistir ao espetáculo da natureza.     PROJETO VIÁRIO PARA MELHORIA DA MOBILIDADE INTERNA DE SÃO CONRADO Objetivo Elaborado por arquitetos e engenheiros da AMASCO e ofertado às autoridades municipais, esse estudo visa melhorar a mobilidade interna do bairro de São Conrado em duas regiões críticas: o entorno do Hotel Nacional e o entorno da Praça São Conrado. Com isso, haverá uma diminuição drástica da circulação interna de veículos rumo à Barra da Tijuca e o término do engarrafamento na Autoestrada Lagoa-Barra nas proximidades do retorno próximo ao posto Shell e supermercado Zona Sul. Situação atual do entorno do Hotel Nacional (Área 1) Os veículos com destino à Barra da Tijuca, que chegam a São Conrado através da Av. Niemeyer, prejudicam drasticamente a mobilidade interna do bairro ao serem obrigados a seguir até a imediação do Supermercado SuperMarket, entrando em seguida na Av. Aquarela do Brasil, Av. Almirante Álvaro Alberto, Rua Povina Cavalcanti (ao lado do shopping Fashion Mall), Rua Engenheiro Amandino de Carvalho — ruas que não possuem estrutura para receber tamanho fluxo —, até a chegada à praia para continuação do percurso (FOTO 1). Anteriormente, esse fluxo passava embaixo do Hotel Nacional e seguia o mesmo percurso engarrafado a partir da Av. Álvaro Alberto até o final da Rua Engenheiro Amandino de Carvalho (FOTO 2). Proposta para o entorno do Hotel Nacional (Área 1) Vindo do Leblon através da Av. Niemeyer, os veículos seguirão até o platô sobre o canal da Av. Aquarela do Brasil (FOTO 3), virarão para a esquerda na Av. Aquarela do Brasil e retornarão diretamente para a praia. No entroncamento da praia rumarão para a direita através de uma pequena conexão a ser criada ao lado do Hotel Royal Tulip (FOTO 4).
