There are also special children’s day and seniors’ days. Because of COVID, the village didn’t open until July 17 this year and they plan to remain open until September 5, although only fully-vaccinated individuals can be admitted under the current provincial health orders. The village is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Adult admission is $15 for the full tour and $10 for the half tour. Admission for children aged 5 to 12 is $7 and $5 respectively.

She lived in Iceland as a child and this is her first starring role in Icelandic. Her husband is played by Hilmir Snær Guðnason. Dýrið will receive its Icelandic premiere in September.
