Note: This applies only to products purchased directly from Apple. Products purchased from Apple Authorized Resellers should be treated in accordance with the reseller’s requirements. Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms used throughout this document have the meanings ascribed to them in the Direct Corporate Customer Terms and Conditions of Sale or defined therein. Welcome to Getting Started with the Direct Corporate Customer Apple Store (“Corporate Apple Store”), a look at Apple’s web-based order placement tool. The Corporate Apple Store has two levels of access: Authorized “Proposer” and Authorized “Purchaser.” An Authorized “Proposer” can: • create a proposal with any combination of Apple Product, Apple Configure To Order (“CTO”) Product, or non-Apple branded Product (third party product); • e-mail a proposal to a colleague or purchaser; • review the proposal for accuracy; and • submit the proposal to the Purchaser.

An Authorized “Purchaser” can: • create a proposal or order with any combination of Apple Product, Apple Configure To Order (“CTO”) Product, or non-Apple branded Product (third party product); • e-mail a proposal to a colleague; • review your proposals or those submitted by “Proposers” and create an order or add them to an existing order; • review an order you have created prior to submission to Apple; • submit an order to Apple for processing; and • review the status of an order submitted to Apple.

Technical requirements To access the Corporate Apple Store, you will require Internet access, a web browser (Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, version 4.0 or higher, or Safari) and a compatible printer should you wish to print any information for your files.

1 Logging In

Authorized Purchasers An authorized representative of your company will need to complete a Corporate Apple Store Access Form (“Access Form”) to obtain Purchaser Access(es). To obtain an Access Form, please contact your Apple Account Executive. All completed forms must be faxed to Apple Channel Operations at (905) 513-5793.

Your enrolment will take effect one (1) week after your Access Form is received and accepted by Apple. Apple will contact each enrolled Purchaser with a Corporate Apple Store user identification (“Apple ID”) and Password.

Before entering the Corporate Apple Store, authorized purchasers must enter their Apple ID and Password where indicated and click to go to the main menu of the Corporate Apple Store.

Authorized Proposers Proposers can enter the Corporate Apple Store without going through a login screen but will be required to enter their Apple ID and Password when a proposal is created or submitted to the purchaser by hitting the button.

Proposers who have not setup an Apple ID and Password may do so by clicking on:

Proposers will then be asked to create an Apple ID and Password by completing the Email address, Password, First Name, Last Name and Daytime Phone fields. This will be your permanent Apple ID and your initial Password (you will be asked to change your Password occasionally).

If your password does not work The password field is case-sensitive, please ensure that you enter it correctly. If you continue to experience difficulties, send an e-mail to [email protected].

As discussed on the Welcome page, an Authorized “Proposer” can: • create a proposal with any combination of Apple Product, Apple Configure To Order (“CTO”) Product, or non-Apple branded Product (third party product); • e-mail a proposal to a colleague or purchaser; • review the proposal for accuracy; and • submit the proposal to the Purchaser.

Creating a Proposal for Apple Computer Products 1. Select the type of computer by clicking on its image.

3. If you want just a base model, click . If you want to customize a computer to your specification or require a French keyboard/Operating System, select the configuration from each applicable drop-down menu then click to update the Summary and Subtotal of your computer configuration. Then Click to proceed to the Add-on Page.

4. To add software or an accessory, or to take advantage of a Special Offer, simply click on the button for that product. Then click to proceed to the Review your Proposal Page.

On the Review your Proposal page, you can: • review the contents of your Shopping Cart; • increase the quantity of an item in your Shopping Cart; or • remove an item from your Shopping Cart. Note: If you increase the quantity of an item, press return or click .

6. At this point, you can click on:

• clicking a product learn more link and clicking the button on the Learn More; or

• clicking product tiles and clicking the button on the Learn More;

• clicking a special collection tile and clicking the button beside the product; and

Retrieving Your Most Recent Saved Proposal You can retrieve your most recent Saved Proposal On the Apple Store Home Page.

To view the most recent Proposal you created, click either of these links

Clicking on either will take you to the Shopping Cart of your most recent Proposal.

Reviewing All Your Saved Proposals

You can view all your Saved Proposals by clicking the Saved Proposals link on the Home Page.

This will take you to a Page that lists all your Saved Proposals.

Clicking on the Proposal Number will take you to the Review Saved Proposal Page where you can either delete, e-mail, or submit your Proposal.

Tips Promotional discounts Only promotional discounts provided to you in a promotional communication from Apple are applicable. From time to time, this field may be automatically populated if there is an instant savings promotion running on your Apple Store. In this case, another Promotional Savings Code or e-Coupon cannot be combined with the instant savings. Please refer to each promotion’s terms and conditions for details.

Your session automatically times out To protect your account, the Corporate Apple Store will automatically end your session after a prolonged period of inactivity. Should you attempt to continue after this period has ended, you will be returned to the Reseller Validation page. Please note that any information you had changed on the page you were viewing prior to the expiration of your session will have been lost.

3 Authorized Purchasers Home Page To access the Apple Store as an Authorized Purchaser, an authorized representative of your company will need to complete a Corporate Apple Store Access Form (“Access Form”) to obtain Purchaser Access(es). Please refer to Chapter 1 for details. Below is a sample of a Business Store Home Page as seen by a Purchaser. The Proposer and a Purchaser Home are identical except a Purchaser Home Page has two additional links at the bottom—“Look Up a Proposal” and “Review Your Order Status.”

6. At this point, you can click on:

Reviewing and Approving Proposals 1. Once a proposal has been submitted or saved for later retrieval, a Purchaser can review the proposal and submit for final ordering. This is done by clicking on the link on the Main Menu.

Click here to review a proposal submitted for approval and submit it as an order to Apple.

2. On the Review Proposals page, you can view proposals submitted to you by a Proposer by entering the Proposer’s Last Name and Web Proposal Number.

At this point, you can either: • - if you do not want to act on this proposal at this time • - if everything is acceptable; clicking this button will add the items on the proposal to your Shopping Cart and the Review Your Order page will be displayed.

Reviewing an Order 1. If you have already submitted an order to Apple for processing and want to review its status, click the link on the Main Menu.

5. Orders will then be summarized on a list based on the criteria you have specified.

To change the sorting of orders, click on the column header you want to sort by. Click on Details button to view details for the order.

7. To change or cancel an order that has not been shipped or sent to Production (in the case of custom configured computers), contact Apple Sales Support at 905.513.5781 or 1.866.257.5781 between 8:30am and 7:30pm EST.

Subtotal Please note that the subtotal does not include any rebates or applicable sales tax. These will be reflected in the e-mail confirmation you will receive from the Corporate Apple Store once your order has been placed.

Estimate Ship Times (“Est Ship”) Estimated Ship times on your Shopping Cart provide an estimated amount of time that your order can ship from Apple’s warehouse after your order passes the credit review process. It does not include the transit time from Apple’s warehouse to your location.

Your payment options You will be able to purchase Apple Product using the payment method approved by Apple.

Purchase Order As a security measure, orders with duplicate Purchase Order Numbers (PO#s) are automatically placed on hold status. To avoid delays, please ensure you use a unique PO# for each order. If you need to use the same PO#, please add an “A, B, C, etc.” after the PO#.

Communicating special instructions using the Comments Section The Comments section on the Shipping Info page was designed for special instructions and any other information that Apple must know when processing your order. Note: Populating this field will automatically place your order on a review hold status until the special instructions can be assessed and implemented.

Order Status If you have just entered an order, it will not immediately appear on the Order Status page as it takes several minutes for the online Apple Store to interface with Apple’s internal order entry system. If you would like to view an order you have just entered, please wait 5 to 10 minutes before searching for it on the Order Status site.

4 Tiles and Product Collections

The Home Page is a dynamic page—tiles are constantly updated to reflect the latest and greatest product and promotion offerings.

Product and Promotion Tiles New product and promotion offerings are usually featured on the left and right columns by placing a tile that links to a product Learn More or a promo information page. Tiles are also placed on other pages on the Store, usually on Step 2, Step 3 and Review Your Order Pages.

Apple-Branded and Third Party Software and Accessories For your convenience, the Apple Store carries a selection of popular software and accessories. These products can be accessed through Home Page links or through Add-on collections on the Step 3 Page of the computer ordering pages.

Other Special Links From time to time, Apple may introduce a special product or service offering. To access these items, tiles will be placed on the Home Page or other pages on the Store, usually on Step 2, Step 3 and Review Your Order Pages. Here are a couple of examples:
