The band’s sophomore release, American Tragedy , entered the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart at number 4 this past spring and has sold almost a quarter of a million albums to date in the US alone. The album has spawned several hits including “Hear Me Now,” “Been To Hell,” “Coming Back Down,” and the latest single “Bullet.” American Tragedy will get a new life this fall when American Tragedy Redux is released on November 21 st on A&M/Octone Records. Who would have thought that someone you grew up listening to would one day remix your song, Me…Bitch! So stay tuned, and hope you enjoy it. We hope it makes you sweat your tits off at your barnyard raves! Enjoy!” Hollywood Undead will also continue to perform to standing room only crowds as they travel across the US as part of the World War III tour co-headlining with Asking Alexandria and then followed immediately with the Avenged Sevenfold on the Buried Alive arena tour, on which the band will be the main support. The band will also perform at the 48 Hours Festival in Las Vegas on October 15 th . Hollywood Undead are an explosive cocktail of hip hop, rock and metal, forging an alternative style that carved out a loyal and die-hard fan base since their debut on the LA scene in 2005. They craft incisive, sharp and sarcastic raps that slash the jugular of mainstream pop culture. Donning individual masks, Hollywood Undead possess a dark aesthetic that's connected to their hometown's depravity. Their debut release Swan Songs is now approaching sales of 1,000,000 copies, and platinum certification from the RIAA. Swan Songs spent 53 consecutive weeks on the aforementioned album chart, and re-charted in front of the release of American Tragedy . American Tragedy Redux - Track Listing 1. • MNL and PMA Recommend That All Municipal Offices and Public Facilities Should Now Be Closed to the Public Including Appointments
Updated: May 1, 2020 1. WHAT ARE THE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MUNICIPAL OPERATIONS AND STAFFING? MNL and PMA recommend that all municipal offices and public facilities should now be closed to the public including appointments. Business continuity planning in the case of an emergency, if available, should now be in place. All municipalities should explore and encourage banking online or through the phone, or payments through cheque/money order if online banking is not a possibility. Where and when possible, office staff should be working from home. If staff cannot work from home, advised social distancing guidelines and hygiene practices should be maintained in the office. Public works and outside staff should follow social distancing and hygiene practices and should work from home on an on-call basis, when possible. Update May 1, 2020: MNL is seeking further clarification on the role of municipalities in reopening and what reopening means for municipal operations. 2. WE ARE A SMALL COMMUNITY WITH A SMALL MAINTENANCE STAFF. IF OUR STAFF BECOME ILL, WHAT SHOULD WE DO? Ensure anyone who is feeling ill calls 811 and self-isolates for their protection and the protection of others. Reach out to neighbouring communities now to discuss whether there is an opportunity to share staff across the region should the need arise – particularly for critical services like drinking water. Mutual aid agreements can be helpful in these situations. If all or a large portion of your staff fall ill, you will have to curtail services unless you are able to work out an arrangement with neighbouring municipalities. If you are unable to find another solution, contact the Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment.

  • Song & Music in the Movement
Transcript: Song & Music in the Movement A Conversation with Candie Carawan, Charles Cobb, Bettie Mae Fikes, Worth Long, Charles Neblett, and Hollis Watkins, September 19 – 20, 2017. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 Song_2017.09.19_01TASCAM Charlie Cobb: [00:41] So the recorders are on and the levels are okay. Okay. This is a fairly simple process here and informal. What I want to get, as you all know, is conversation about music and the Movement. And what I'm going to do—I'm not giving elaborate introductions. I'm going to go around the table and name who's here for the record, for the recorded record. Beyond that, I will depend on each one of you in your first, in this first round of comments to introduce yourselves however you wish. To the extent that I feel it necessary, I will prod you if I feel you've left something out that I think is important, which is one of the prerogatives of the moderator. [Laughs] Other than that, it's pretty loose going around the table—and this will be the order in which we'll also speak—Chuck Neblett, Hollis Watkins, Worth Long, Candie Carawan, Bettie Mae Fikes. I could say things like, from Carbondale, Illinois and Mississippi and Worth Long: Atlanta. Cobb: Durham, North Carolina. Tennessee and Alabama, I'm not gonna do all of that. You all can give whatever geographical description of yourself within the context of discussing the music. What I do want in this first round is, since all of you are important voices in terms of music and culture in the Movement—to talk about how you made your way to the Freedom Singers and freedom singing.
