MAJOR STEPHEN G. OTT

Major Stephen Ott is the Operations Flight Commander (OFC) and Assistant Professor of Studies at Valdosta State University Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 172, Valdosta, Georgia. As the OFC, he serves as the primary instructor for all Practical Military Training (PMT). Specifically, he supervises cadet wing operations and planning for all PMT events accomplishing Aerospace Studies and Leadership Laboratory curriculum objectives.

Major Ott entered the Air Force in 2002 and later received his commission in 2009 from Air Force Officer Training School. His background includes aircraft, Inter- continental Ballistic Missile and nuclear weapons maintenance, and operational test and evaluation. His previous assignments include , , , Florida, Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, Ramstein , Germany, and Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. His previous assignment was as the Maintenance Operations Officer, 576 Flight Test Squadron, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.
