As director of MIT's Hayden Gallery, Andersen also organized pioneering exhibitions of contemporary art. Among his most important books are "Cézanne's Portrait Drawings" (1970), "Gauguin's Paradise Lost" (1971), "American Sculpture in Process: 1930-1970" (1975), "The Youth of Cézanne and Zola: Notoriety at Its Source: Art and Literature in Paris" (2003), and "Cézanne and the Eternal Feminine" (2004). His library reflects the focuses of his work, providing an impressive foundation for the study of European and American art from Delacroix to the present day. It also contains a sophisticated selection of books on art theory and aesthetics. The library is in excellent condition. ARS LIBRI THE LIBRARY OF WAYNE ANDERSEN GENERAL WORKS 1 ADAMS, STEVEN.
