Democratic Republic of Congo: Internally displaced persons and returnees (September 2015) Eastern DRC continues to be the theatre of a complex and protracted humanitarian crisis affecting at least 1.6 million IDPs, of whom 90% are displaced due to armed attacks and violence. With more than 744,000 IDPs, North Kivu remains the most Causes of displacement by province affected province.
