The section on the Arcus visiones of the planets is according to the Schoch values which give valid results only for Jupiter and Venus. All graphics here are made with my computer programs ‘Placidus’ and ‘Babylonia’. All drawings are by Antoaneta Georgieva. All photos by me. References to the bibliography on page 60, are given in brackets and preceded by ‘b.’, like...(b. 1), meaning item number 1 in the bibliography. The book was written during Abu 2000. For up-to-date research on the topic published in the Babylonian Sky Observer, please contact the author. HISTORY The invention of the cuneiform writing came around 4000 BC with the first signs of organized astral cult in Mesopotamia. My research (Melammu Symposium, 2008, Sofia) proves that the Sumero-Babylonian Astrology came into being around 5,500 BC - in times pre-historic. Astrology or better Astro- Sophy was given then to the prophet of God, Enmeduranki in a Revelation. Astrology is the art to correlate events in Sky with events on Earth. Many achievements in the observational Astronomy in Babylonia are unsurpassed even today, e.g. the prediction of the heliacal phases. We should forget all Astrology books we have read, we should erase from our mind all we know about Astrology before we start investigating Babylonian Astrology. And this is but only the first step, the theoretical lab-class of the student-navigator. The real Babylonian Astrology experience, the real journey of the captain, starts and ends with the personal sky observation. PRINCIPLES 1: The Light is the primary medium for communication of the stars. God is Light and the whole World is made of Light. The medium of God through which He may show us what He wants is the Light. The Light is the object of sight and sight is our primary sense. The stars emanate their essence outward into Light and let us know them thereby. The more shiny a star, the stronger. The steadier its light, the steadier its nature. When it shines on Earth for the most part of the night (un-annihilated by the solar light), then the peak of its influence. When the star cannot be seen, then the trough of its influence. 2: The picture of the celestial firmament, directly observed by the unaided eyes of the astrologer, is the essence of Babylonian Astrology. No ephemeris, no books, no computer program is Babylonian Astrology. Not a part of the sky is to be observed, but the whole sky since the whole firmament is the screen of the Divine projection. Each and every point on the sky- with its luminosity and color- is an integral part of the picture that God draws for us every moment. And what we see on the firmament with our own eyes only is what is important. 2 THE BULLETIN OF THE "PLACIDUS RESEARCH CENTER" www.babylonianastrology.com THE BABYLONIAN SKY OBSERVER a VOLUME 1, MAY 2006, Varna, Bulgaria a a THE OMEN OF VENUS INSIDE THE PLEIADES Original cuneiform text, latin transliteration and translation. For explanations of this omen see page 2. MMVI, Varna, Bulgaria a THE PATHS OF THE SKY a THE WESTERN HORIZON Venus and Mercury can be Evening stars and appear above the western horizon shortly after sunset. How is this case to be treated (what concerns the 'paths')? How can we assess the path in which Venus or Mercury appear for the first time as evening stars? I am not aware of any hints coming from the ancient tradition, but logically we can construct the paths also along the western horizon. I assume simply that in the same way as we observed the sunrises so now we must watch the sunsets on the 30th of Airu and on the 1st of Addar. The azimuths and the declinations of the setting Sun will give us the boundaries between the paths along the west. Look at figure 4 and 5. 249.3z 292.2z = -16.1 = 16.2 z z AN EN KI EN LIL 270z Figure 4 Here are the boundaries between the 'paths' on the Western Horizon according to both theories, the azimuthal and the declinational: New York, 2006. L0ST BOOK °f6NK1 ZECHARIA SITCHIN author of The 12th Planet • . FICTION/MYTHOLOGY $24.00 TH6 LOST BOOK OF 6NK! Will the past become our future? Is humankind destined to repeat the events that occurred on another planet, far away from Earth? Zecharia Sitchin’s bestselling series, The Earth Chronicles, provided humanity’s side of the story—as recorded on ancient clay tablets and other Sumerian artifacts—concerning our origins at the hands of the Anunnaki, “those who from heaven to earth came.” In The Lost Book of Enki, we can view this saga from a dif- ferent perspective through this richly con- ceived autobiographical account of Lord Enki, an Anunnaki god, who tells the story of these extraterrestrials’ arrival on Earth from the 12th planet, Nibiru. The object of their colonization: gold to replenish the dying atmosphere of their home planet. Finding this precious metal results in the Anunnaki creation of homo sapiens—the human race—to mine this important resource. In his previous works, Sitchin com- piled the complete story of the Anunnaki ’s impact on human civilization in peacetime and in war from the frag- ments scattered throughout Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Hittite, Egyptian, Canaanite, and Hebrew sources- —the “myths” of all ancient peoples in the old world as well as the new. Missing from these accounts, however, was the perspective of the Anunnaki themselves What was life like on their own planet? What motives propelled them to settle on Earth—and what drove them from their new home? • Mesopotamian Culture
MESOPOTAMIAN CULTURE WORK DONE BY MANUEL D. N. 1ºA MESOPOTAMIAN GODS The Sumerians practiced a polytheistic religion , with anthropomorphic monotheistic and some gods representing forces or presences in the world , as he would later Greek civilization. In their beliefs state that the gods originally created humans so that they serve them servants , but when they were released too , because they thought they could become dominated by their large number . Many stories in Sumerian religion appear homologous to stories in other religions of the Middle East. For example , the biblical account of the creation of man , the culture of The Elamites , and the narrative of the flood and Noah's ark closely resembles the Assyrian stories. The Sumerian gods have distinctly similar representations in Akkadian , Canaanite religions and other cultures . Some of the stories and deities have their Greek parallels , such as the descent of Inanna to the underworld ( Irkalla ) resembles the story of Persephone. COSMOGONY Cosmogony Cosmology sumeria. The universe first appeared when Nammu , formless abyss was opened itself and in an act of self- procreation gave birth to An ( Anu ) ( sky god ) and Ki ( goddess of the Earth ), commonly referred to as Ninhursag . Binding of Anu (An) and Ki produced Enlil , Mr. Wind , who eventually became the leader of the gods. Then Enlil was banished from Dilmun (the home of the gods) because of the violation of Ninlil , of which he had a son , Sin ( moon god ) , also known as Nanna . No Ningal and gave birth to Inanna ( goddess of love and war ) and Utu or Shamash ( the sun god ) .

The human experience of Divine Encounters as recorded in scriptures and texts from the ancient Near East is a most amazing and fascinating saga. It is a powerful drama that spans Heaven and Earth, involving worship and devotion, eternity and morality on the one hand, and love and sex, jealousy and murder on the other; ascents unto space and journeys to the Netherworld. A stage on which the actors are gods and goddesses, angels and demigods, Earthlings and androids; a drama expressed in prophecies and visions, in dreams and omens and oracles and revelations. It is a story of Man, separated from his Creator, seeking to restore a pri- meval umbilical cord and, by so doing, reach for the stars.

The rebels have unleashed the most horrid of the forbidden weapons upon our northern provinces. This time they have gone too far. Even though the rebels are nearly eradicated the damage is already done. ALALU has allowed this weapon to destroy our atmosphere, to the point that it will not mend itself, and soon Nibiru will no longer support life. Yet all is not lost, our scientist have developed a long term solution to save our atmosphere. They have discovered a means to pulverize the element and magnetize it to create a shield around our world. It would seem that there is another world that may contain the element of gold as Nibiru once did. The primitive world Ki(Earth) may be the answer to our prayers.
