Pensioner Contacts and Co-ordinators needed. Could you volunteer? The Pensioner Contact Scheme provides an advice service to pensioners, as well as helping with the Welfare & Benevolent Fund for those who fall on hard times or need special assistance.
Pensioner Contacts (PCs) are the point of contact for up to several hundred retirees near where they live, and Pensioner Co-ordinators (PCCs) oversee the PCs in a geographic area (eg a county).
Run by volunteers, overseen by the British Airways Retired Staff Liaison Council and materially assisted by BA Pensions, the PCS is for all BA pensioners.
Could you volunteer? With several gaps now present, new volunteers are needed to help support pensioners. Historically, these volunteers have been pensioners themselves, but the positions are now open to serving colleagues.
