He had MANY enemies and few FRIENDS. SISTER acts complained that £ 53 & over his desk because his nasty PAPER said her DARLING danced with one foot and had a voice like a STEAM CALIOPE. DANCING acts called him a FAKIR, ROBBER, GRAFTER, and said he could be BOUGHT for FIVE DOLLARS. Sketches complained that he was ...
