In these Geography lessons you will be looking at the different countries and cities in the UK and look at the human and physical features of the .

The United Kingdom

Watch the videoclip reminding you of the different countries, cities and main features of the UK.

Then, read through the PowerPoint information on the countries and cities of the UK. Once you have done this, there are a few sheets for you to have a go at:

• Countries and cities of the UK: Can you identify and mark on the different countries and capital cities of the UK? • Countries and seas of the UK: If you have access to a computer, you might be able to find and label the surrounding seas. • Cities of the UK: If you have access to a computer or an atlas, you might be able to find and label some of the major cities of the UK. Have you visited any before?

Don’t forget to colour in your maps as well!
