This role requires an experienced, friendly, positive and outgoing hospitality professional who is driven to deliver outstanding customer service, exceeding customers’ expectations and creating a positive, lasting impression on our guests.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, in this dual role of Concierge and Front Office Receptionist, you will be part of our small but efficient Front Office team, providing an excellent standard of customer service to all of our guests. You will be the first person to greet our guests so your customer service skills must be outstanding.

As a Concierge / Receptionist it is your responsibility is to be available to our guests, to provide support and make any necessary arrangements they request.

Responsibilities include: • Provide all guests with efficient and friendly service • Taking accommodation reservations and reconfirming guests bookings and arrival details • Meeting and greeting guests on arrival and farewelling guests on departure • Assisting with parking and luggage to and from guests’ accommodation • Offering advice on local attractions and making reservations such as dinner and local activities • Performing check in, check out and cashiering processes • Shift balance, cash and credit handling • Being actively involved in selling and promoting the hotel and responding to guests enquiries about the Hotel • Maintaining sound knowledge on all aspects of the Front Office operations • Operate the switchboard handling both internal and external phone calls • Ensuring communication is paramount amongst all team members in reference to daily operations • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with local services and providers • General Front Office / Administration duties

The successful person will have previous experience in a similar role within a hotel/ environment and will become an integral part of the Front Office team, representing the face of this . Customer service is the number one priority and you must be dedicated to ensuring our guests feel welcome and have the best possible experience during their stay.

To be successful in this role you will require:

• Outstanding customer service skills • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills • High level attention to detail • Excellent grooming and presentation skills • Great time management skills and the ability to multi task, organise, prioritise and manage own work load • Ability to work autonomously, while being self-motivated and driven • Local area knowledge in order to provide advice on local attractions and make reservations at other facilities • Experience using Computerised Reservations Systems • Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel and Word • Current Valid NSW Drivers Licence (Provisional Licensees need not apply), Minimum 2 years driving experience

Due to the nature of the business, the working hours are based on a 7 day rotating roster and you must be available to work weekends, public holidays and a combination of early and late shifts (opening hours generally between 7am and 8pm (please do not apply if not available).
