The KMS Foundation were enthusiastic over the request to grow motorcycle sports in the country and consented for the four-race TSA 2018 East Africa Superbike Championship (EASBC) (formerly known as the Superbike Championship (SBC)) to be run under observance as a candidate event. KMS Foundation was impressed by the organizational capabilities of TSA during the 2018 candidate season and proceeded to form the four-round, eight-race National Superbike Circuit Racing Championship (NSCRC) for 2019.
