2019 SWING CLASSIC

Taking MARTA from Airport to Crowne Plaza ATL Perimeter Ravinia Hotel (http://www.itsmarta.com/how-to-ride-marta.aspx)

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is Atlanta's state-of-the-art public transportation system. A single $2.50 fare covers one-way bus or train trips, including transfers. When you land at the ATL airport, just ask anyone for directions to MARTA. You'll land in one of the seven concourses (T, A, B, C, D, E and F). It’s easiest to take the airport's shuttle (called “the Plane Train”) to take you from whichever terminal you land in to the main terminal; follow the signs for Ground Transportation to MARTA which is near Baggage Claim on the western end of the main terminal. http://www.itsmarta.com/airport.aspx

Once you find the station, just inside the doors are vending machines where you can use your credit card/cash to purchase either a reloadable “”, like a credit card, or a Ticket.

Before you get on the train, you'll come to a gate/turnstile type of entrance. Have your breeze card/ticket in hand and tap the blue target with it; watch others if you’re not sure what to do. When you've reached your final destination or to transfer, you'll use your breeze card/ticket again to tap the blue target to exit the train system. Put your breeze card/ticket in your wallet so you know where it is when you return to the airport!

If you arrive before 9 pm*, take the RED line (North Springs) all the way from the Airport to the . If you arrive after 9 pm*, you'll need to take the GOLD line (Doraville) to the Lindburgh Station where you'll then transfer to the RED line, and then get off at the Dunwoody Station. (*This time changes depending on week day vs. weekend so double check by asking any of the uniformed MARTA staff; other riders are usually in the know too). The conductor will also announce if you have to make a transfer to get to the Dunwoody Station. There are maps inside the cars so you can see the train’s progress and know when the Dunwoody Station is coming up.

Once you’ve exited MARTA at the Dunwoody Station, you can call the hotel at 770-395- 7700 to request Complimentary Pickup.

Or, walk the 1.5 blocks to the hotel. Go down to the street level at Hammond Drive. You should be able to look left and see the “Crowne Plaza” sign at the top of the hotel. Turn left on Hammond Drive, which ends at the entrance to the hotel (see area map).

Taking MARTA to the Airport: Make your way back to the Dunwoody Station from the hotel. Walking back is slightly downhill so it’s easier. Use your breeze card to get through the gate and wait for a SOUTH bound train. During the weekend, you may have to make a transfer at the Lindbergh Station (the conductor will announce it if so) and take another train south to the Airport. The last stop is at the Airport and you exit already inside of the terminal.
