TOURNAMENT TALKING POINTS  No.1 seed is playing her first tournament since a surprise second-round exit at Wimbledon. The draw paired here has her with a qualifier in the first round before a potential meeting with either Zheng Saisai or wildcard Katie Swan  Sloane Stephens is No.2 seed and one of three former champions in the draw.
