Matt Wright is fresh off a 2011 season in which he appeared in 50 games for the Dunedin Blue Jays of the Florida State League. Wright posted a 4-2 record through 77 innings of work, striking out 88 batters. He walked just 18 hitters and held opponents to a .234 batting average against. Wright started his tenure in professional baseball with the short- season Auburn Doubledays.
