The quotation papers may be had from the office of The EXECUTIVE ENGINEER, CENTRAL WAREHOUSING CORPORATION, Regional Office, 15/N, Nellie Sengupta Sarani, 6th floor, CMC Building, New Market Area, Kolkata,700087 free of cost in working hours from 10.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. on or before 14.03.2021 Estimated cost of work is Rs. 3,14,440.03. Earnest money to be deposited amounting to Rs 6,300/- in the form of D.D./ pay order of the schedule Bank in favour of Regional Manager, Central Warehousing Corporation payable at Kolkata. The quotationers are requested to quote the rate in schedule of work enclosed at page No.5 and the same/quotation duly completed schedule of work under sealed envelop superscribing the name of work shall be submitted to the office of the Executive Engineer, Regional Office, Central Warehousing Corporation, CMC Building(6th floor)Phase-I, 15 N, Nellie Sengupta Sarani, Kolkata-700087 up to 15.00 hours on 15.03.2021 and the same will be opened at 15.30 hrs on the same day in the presence of quotationers/contractors who may wish to be present at the time of opening. Works should be executed as per CPWD specifications. 2. Water & Electricity will be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 3. All T&P required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 4. The rates areinclusive all lead & liftsetc. 5. All taxes Income Tax, Work Tax etc (except GST) as applicable will be deducted as per Govt. Rule from the contractor bill. 6. 10% Security Deposit will be deducted from the gross bill amount & will be released after the defect liability period of six months which will be reckoned from the date of successful completion of the work. In case any defect is found within the defect liability period, the same shall be repaired by the contractor immediately at his own cost. 7. Contractor will be fully responsible to labour payments, accident, mishappening, damages & other labour welfare & safety measures. 8. Time allowed for completion of work is 30(thirty) days, from the date as to be mentioned in the work order. 9. The above shown quantities are tentative & may vary as per site condition. 10. All payments will be released through e-payments by RO, Kolkata. 11. Vouchers of Cement, Paint and Bitumen shall be submitted with the bill. 12. GST or any other tax applicable in respect of inputs procured by the contractor for this contract shall be payable by the Contractor and CWC will not entertain any claim whatsoever in respect of the same. 13. The rates quoted by the Tenderers/contractors shall be inclusive of GST or all applicable taxes, Building and other Construction Workers Welfare Cess, levies, duties on materials or services and on complete works in respect of this contract shall be payable by the contactor and Central Warehousing Corporation will not entertain any claim whatsoever in this respect.This should be included in the rates quoted by the contractor. i) However, contractor is required to submit tax invoice as per rules under GST law. ii) CWC shall deduct GST at source at applicable rates in case transactions under this contract are liable to GST deduction at source. iii) Under GST regime, the contractor is required to correctly and timely disclose the details of output supply to GST as per GST rules in his GST return. Non-compliance would result in mis-matching of claims and denial of input tax credit to CWC. Notwithstanding, anything contained in the agreement/contract in case of such default by the contractor, the amount of input tax credit denied in GST along with interest and penalty shall be recovered from the contractor. iv) Unless expressly stated, otherwise, where any identifiable cost saving are realized during the currency of contract by virtue of deduction: (1) In rate of tax on supply of goods and services.
