Summary of our recommendations Overview of final recommendations for Reigate and We have considered all the submissions we received during our consultation on our draft recommendations. Banstead Borough Council The final recommendations propose that Reigate and Banstead Borough Council should have 45 councillors. View this map online and explore it in more detail at: consultation.lgbce.org.uk This is 6 fewer than the current number of councillors. Follow us on Twitter: @LGBCE Those councillors should represent 15 three-councillor wards, 4 fewer wards than there are now If you are viewing this page online, click on the map to go straight to our interactive consultation area.

The boundaries of Reigate and Banstead Borough wards should change, none should stay the same. Names of wards should also be changed.

There have been substantial changes to our original proposals, particularly at Kingswood, Lower Kingswood and Woodmansterne. For example, we have combined parts of Kingswood north and south of the railway line into one ward, and recommended boundaries for Woodmansterne, as suggested to us by residents’ associations.

In the parish of Horley, we have made a change to our proposals for Benhams Drive by including it in our Horley West & Sidlow ward.

An outline of the proposals is shown in the map to the right. A detailed report on the recommendations and interactive mapping is available on our website at: www.lgbce.org.uk.
