This format outlines the annual reports to be published by all colleges in the st on their websites, by October 31 of each year. Part I is intended as a guide and colleges are free to alter the contents and format as they see fit. Part II, the Appendix (Institutional Performance Data and Financial Reports), is mandatory and colleges are required to report all data as per the attached format and instructions.

Part I 1. The Principal’s Report (2 pages)- Highlights the key activities, events, and successes of the past year and briefly describes major new initiatives to be undertaken over the next year.

Government P.G. College Rehli, Sagar started its journey in 1983. The college grew out of the efforts of Dr. G.C.Singhai who believed in and promoted education for the local people in the field of higher education. At the time of its inception, UG Arts classes were conducted in the college ,later in 2005, B.Sc /M.A in 4 subjects was started to meet the needs of the weaker and backward Section of the society. Equal opportunity is given to both girls and boys regardless of cast and creed as it is co-education institute. At present there are about 3380 students enrolled in its 2 UG and 4 PG courses. . We endeavour to develop a strong foundation of decent ethics in our students and try to make them academically sound and self reliant. Though the college lacks sufficient infrastructural and other facilities required for rendering higher education, it has been making untiring efforts to realize the vision and the mission with which the college started its journey. We make every effort to sustain out students support activities and improve the quality of the services so we can deliver quality citizens to the society. The challenges ahead the college are varied and manifold. We need to assure better financial aid for the successful accomplishment of our future projects. Continuous up gradation of infrastructural facility, proper maintenance, improving the quality of academic services, extension, research activities and student support programmes, computer awareness are a few of the challenges before the college. We are confident that in near future we will overcome these challenges and will be able to produce better and confident citizens for the society.

To take higher education within the access of backward and weaker sections of the society in the remote areas. Mission

The mission of the college is the expansion of higher education followed by various other measures like social assignments, character building, work for environment protection and making the students ready for various areas of work after attaining degree.

Govt.P.G.College Rehli is situated 40 KM from district headquater sagar in the tehsil of Rehli. It is affiliated to Dr.H.S.Gour.V.V.Sagar & Maharaja Chhatrasal V.V.. It has been recognized under section 2b of

UGC. It has 1250 square meter of built up area.

(iii) History of the college with significant milestones

Briefly describes student life in the college:  Infrastructural facilities available to students - Classrooms, Smart classrooms, laboratories and equipment, Common Research Lab, Hostel; Canteen; Garden; Students common room, Auditorium, Sports Complex & other facilities

The college is a day college . It has stirived hard to provide better facilities to the students. It has sufficient will ventilated, fully electrified classes, 01 smart classroom, Science / Computer laboratories with hall advanced equipment, girls common room. Stadium(out/indoor)Gymnasium and swimming pool is under construction.

 Library as a learning resource- advisory committee, its composition, facilities & services (e & print), annual improvement initiatives

The college has a e library with more then 15000 books. It has a professor incharge and a committee which helps in its working and management. Allmost all the newspaper are available in the college for the students to read.

Student support services: ✓ IT enabled services

The college has to smart classes and a computer lab with 25 computers

with internet facilities, wifi conncectivity is provided to both students and faculties.

✓ Personal enhancement & development schemes- NCC, NSS, Facilities for physically challenged & slow learners; Tutor-Guardian Scheme, Grievance Redressal Cell, Entrepreneurship Cell, Remedial classes, Career Guidance Cell.

The college has N.S.S. for girls and boys and N.C.C for Girls only. Ramps have been provided for physically challenged Students.College has Vivekanand Career Guidance Cell which runs job oriented training programme from time to time which helps the students to become self dependent.

✓ Extracurricular activities: Calendar of activities (Sports, Youth Festival, cultural and literary events), Achievements, Awards

Extracurricular activities are conducted by the college according to the schedule provided by M.P.Higher Education, Bhopal. Sports and youth festival are organised in the college as per its calendar . The Students take part in it. In the past years the college has organised district level kabaddi tournament.

✓ Major student welfare initiatives over the past year

The college tries to give benefit to all the students with all welfare scheme of the government like scholarship and other welfare

programme run by the government.

 Extension Activities

Extension Activities are undertaken by the college on the campus & off the campus . The principal led the whole team of the staff and students as to spread awareness on swachhata, female sesnsitization ,college chalo Abhiyaan, Clean campus, Green campus, plastic polythene free college, water conservation etc.

 The number of sanctioned seats is the number of students the college is authorized, by the UGC/DHE/affiliating University, to admit in the first year of its degree programs.

 The number of sanctioned faculty posts is the number of faculty the college is authorized, by the UGC/DHE/affiliating University, to recruit on a full-time basis.

 Enrolment is defined as the number of students who have paid their admission fees for joining a degree program by September 30 of the respective academic year.

 Admission is defined as the number of students who have paid their admission fees for joining a degree program, in the first year, by September 30 of the respective academic year and who have never been enrolled in that degree program previously.  Other Reserved Categories include all categories of students (for e.g. sports quota, extracurricular quota, residents of Jammu and Kashmir etc.) for whom a fixed percentage of sanctioned seats are reserved.

 An international journal is one that has an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) issued by the ISSN International Centre.

 A paper is said to be published through cross-institute research collaboration if the primary affiliation of at least two authors is to different colleges/institutions.

 The institutional performance indicators common across all institutions can be found in the PIP. Institution-specific performance indicators can be found in the MOU signed between the Institution and the Department of Higher Education.
