ST. JOSEPH CAMPUS October 1, 2014 GRANDPARENTS' DAY INFORMATION & LUNCH ORDER FORM

Preschool and Elementary Parents In recognition of National Grandparents' Day on Sunday, September 7, 2014, Aquin's St. Joseph Campus will be celebrating our Twenty-Seventh Annual Grandparents Day on Monday, October 20, 2014, beginning at 9:30 am, until the end of the lunch periods.

We invite grandparents or special guests to sit in on their grandchild's/grandchildren's classrooms to see firsthand what the children are learning and doing at school . Then at lunchtime, the grandparents are invited to enjoy a lunch with their grandchild(ren) in Berg Hall . A free lunch and a drink will be provided to all grandparents/special guests, however students wishing to receive the lunch are asked to pay $2.85. Grandparents may leave after the lunch/recess period or they may stay in the lunchroom to eat with other grandchildren. Below is a schedule of lunch and recess times for each grade level (please share with grandparents).

We request that ALL FAMILIES fill out the attached grandparents' day lunch order form for your child(ren) and grandparent(s), even if you are not ordering any lunches . Please return the form to school no later than Monday, October 6, 2014 . Please remember that the food has to be purchased several days in advance, so we need an accurate count as soon as possible to this due date. Each family's order form and total fee for their family should be returned in a sealed envelope with the words "Grandparent Lunch " printed on it. Payment for students lunches are to be made to Aquin Schools’ and not the Beltline Café.

Preschool students who do not normally attend on Mondays are invited to attend the morning session on this day. Please let Mrs. Hotchkiss know if your child will be attending, so that she can plan accordingly. Also, if your preschool child does not stay for lunch but would like to stay and eat with their grandparent they are welcome to do so. Kindly fill out the lunch order form below.

Also, we are still in need of volunteer lunch helper and families willing to donate a bag of baby carrots. If you a re able to help out with either of these, please indicate so on the form below.
