-A project on ‘Hand-Crafted Textiles of Gujarat” was undertaken by me as Project Coordinator along with 4 staff members and the senior master’s students.

-.Under this project various Traditional Textiles of Gujarat were researched and documented .These were embroidered textiles, resist dyed textiles, printed and painted textiles, and woven textiles.

-In all 44 Panels of 3’6” by 1’6” size were prepared and were inaugurated by Mr. Narendra Modi – Chief Minister of Gujarat during the Navratri festival, University Grounds at in October 2003 and during Vibrant Gujarat, January 2004 by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, President of India.

-After which these panels have then been exhibited by the Ministry of Textiles in various National and International arenas.

-Exhibition was also held in the Baroda Museum in 2004 for the public of Vadodara.
