A Message From Our Founder, Michael Leigh

A warm welcome to our extended family. It is our founding Team’s twelfth year doing what we do, and our fifth year since launching Joli Caméléon™. We set out to create a new industry standard for innovative luxury hair creations, surprising affordability in the premium hair segment, and superior service. We welcome your feedback any time.

My passion for hair was instilled in me by both my French wife, Genevieve, and my very dear friend, the larger-than-life “René of Paris” - the actual person, not the eponymous Brand he created. With René’s influence and help, those who know me witnessed the creation, from scratch, of America’s first ultra-premium European hair Brand for women and children with hair loss.

In 2014, Joli Caméléon was born, with the clear intent to create the highest quality, high performance wigs at a more affordable price. I was joined by my core Team from our first venture together. We are driven by design innovation, the need for real-life performance, superior materials & workmanship and customer service. No detail is too small to warrant attention. We even make our own hairnets, because the industry standard was so poor. Our intent is to be the quality benchmark throughout our product range, regardless of price. Our hair is first class. Our designs have a European influence from the finest wig makers. Our trusted fabrication partners were chosen for both their skills with fine hand-work and their commitment to our quality-first mantra.
