Ribbon in Open Workbench 2.0 One of the main graphical changes made with the release of Open Workbench 2.0 has been replacing the traditional Menu/Toolbar combination with the modern 'Ribbon'. The purpose of this document is to compare the functions available through the Ribbon with those of the Toolbar in the previous version, and highlight any discrepancies between the two.

Ribbons and Menus Open Workbench 2.0 introduces two Ribbons; the Project Ribbon and the Task Ribbon. In addition, there is the File Menu and the Quick Access Bar.

File Menu

The File Menu is access by clicking the Open Workbench button at the top-left of the screen, and looks like this:

It largely replaces the File menu in Open Workbench 1.1.6.
