Job Description Circle City Prep is seeking a passionate Manager of Operations (MO) who deeply believe that all children deserve an education that not only puts them on a path to college but also leads to access and opens future opportunities. The MO is charged with managing the operational side of the school in service to our mission. The MO reports directly to the Head of School and serves as Secretary (ex-officio position) to the school’s Board of Directors. Our strongest applicants demonstrate the following qualities:

Job Responsibilities Procurement and Vendors § Responsibility for site level procurement of supplies, materials, equipment, and inventory management. § Management of all aspects of free and reduced lunch program/process. § Coordination of food services, facilities maintenance, security, and other third party service contracts. Finances § With the Head of School, work with back provider to ensure accurate and timely work product. § Maintain an organized, highly detailed-oriented account of all invoices, receipts, and transactions. Operations § Management of all safety procedures, including development and communication of school's safety/emergency plan, school entry and exit transitions. § Coordinate food services and health services for the school. § Support of logistical planning for school-wide events. § Coordination technology implementation (planning and training). § Develop, document and train staff in all operational systems and procedures. § Oversee the work of the Fellows. § Plan and implement school culture-building initiatives with the Head of School. Facility § Manage the school facility including maintenance, leasehold improvements, financing, etc. Compliance

§ Preparation of all state reports while ensuring for accuracy and timely filing. § Management of entry, integrity and reporting of data. § Manage student and financial data for all reporting entities and requirements. § Ensure compliance with student records related to health and academics and create systems in the front office for organizing. Students and Families § Oversee enrollment at school site and, as required, lead the enrollment process by working with the school leadership, teachers, and administrative team to meet enrollment targets. § Working with other staff members, implement enrollment campaign for students, including engagement in local marketing initiatives, and demographic analysis. § Ready to greet visitors, answer phones and be the first face parents see when they visit the school. Human Resources § Serve as human resource function for the school including support, benefits enrollment and compliance with all records management law. § Work with our human resource provider and platform to ensure practices, and policies are updated and consistent with legal requirements. § Complete other responsibilities as requested by Head of School.

Competencies § Highly organized and efficient. § Strong communicator and collaborator. § Able to problem solve and think creatively about establishing systems and structures for new school. § Has demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams. § Able to coordinate multiple moving parts, and multiple tasks on a daily basis. § Able to coordinate all aspects of facilities management. Job Requirements § Bachelor’s degree, required. Master’s degree or certified public accounting license, preferred. § Background check passed, required. § Track record of producing dramatic, demonstrable student achievement gains or comparable results in their current field, required. § Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, required.
